Unisport is looking for a technically skilled and result orientated SEO Specialist who is striving to find new ways to optimize conversions and create organic traffic, and who will become responsible for the optimization of Unisport’s platforms towards organic traffic.

As the new SEO Specialist for Unisport, you will be a focal point in Unisport achieving the goals for the content and SEO strategy in 2018 together with our agency partner. You will become responsible for executing the strategy through creation of content for Unisport’s digital platform and other distribution channels. As the position is of a creative as well as technical nature, it is important that you possess general web analytical capabilities and have experience with e.g. tracking and tagging.
In collaboration with the agency partner you will moreover be responsible for technical website optimization as well as for community management and outreach. The position entails a coordination aspect as the new SEO Specialist will be controlling 9 markets with regards to content creation in multiple languages, as well as acting as the stakeholder for all of the markets.
Your main KPI’s will be to grow organic traffic and to ensure keyword portfolio visibility.
Moreover, your tasks will include:
- Ensuring Unisport’s global and local organic search strategies and campaigns in close cooperation with the content team.
- Handling organic search portfolios
- Technical website optimization
- Technical SEO analysis
- Identifying opportunities and report insights to relevant teams.
- Optimising investments and document ROI from organic search marketing activities.
- Execution of strategies and campaigns across 9 markets
This role requires you to have a ‘doer’ mentality. You enjoy executing on organic search campaigns, but also have the clout to develop strategies, provide advice and in general evangelize on the opportunities that search bring. Moreover, you are capable of turning insights into actions.
You have a relevant educational background as well as at least 1-2 years of hands-on experience from similar positions in other international and digitally grounded companies. Alternatively, you are working at a leading SEO Agency. You have solid experience with SEO and online marketing as well as with relevant SEO and web analytics tools.
You are analytical, data driven, used to agile working, and have a proven track record of effectively optimizing organic search. You have great technical as well as creative skills, your work is thoroughly structured and have a conceptual understanding of revenue generating online campaigns. It is a plus, yet not a requirement, if you understand the dynamics of an e-commerce driven environment. Further, you master written and spoken English.
