Hence, they are looking for an ambitious SEO Manager with strong analytical and reporting skills, who will devise and develop a SEO strategy, and be part of an ambitious and enthusiastic environment where we are not afraid to test out new things.
As the new SEO Manager for Bang & Olufsen, you will join Performance Media within their Digital department. You will devise and develop a SEO strategy with high ambitions to enable the acquisition of new costumers, improving visibility and engagement with our company platforms. You will collaborate closely with their Performance Media Lead, as well as their new Paid Search Manager. Together, you will be responsible for setting the direction for Bang & Olufsen’s digital agenda, and you will pave the way for an increased strategic focus across the digital platforms.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Liaising with copywriters and campaign teams to provide optimized site content, and potentially write yourself too
- Working with the corporation’s technical teams and agencies to identify and determine implementable solutions
- Devising and developing outreach and link-building initiatives to grow digital awareness and reputation
- Monitoring and reporting on channel performance, including insights on learnings and next steps
Keeping abreast of SEO and integrated marketing trends, you will play a central role in ensuring the optimization of organic search implementation, using channel and site-wide data across Bang & Olufsen’s two existing sites. You will also participate in forecasting exercises for management, and provide internal consultancy to relevant stakeholders. Moreover, you will prepare and guide the execution of site migrations, as well as consult with technical partners on the build of a new platform.
As a person, you embrace and encourage a culture based on team work, collaboration, and intellectual curiosity.
We expect that you have at least 5 years of experience managing SEO activities and developing SEO strategies, including site migrations. You have international SEO experience, meaning that you have dealt with multilingual sites and practices, and if you have knowledge of Baidu and Yandex optimization techniques, this is definitely a plus.
You have a good understand of the complete marketing mix, particularly PPC, affiliate and social media, and an advanced working knowledge of key platforms including Google Keyword Planner, Search Console, Google Analytics and Site audit tools. CMS experience is also valuable. You speak and write English fluently – and other language skills are considered a plus as we work with localized content as well.
You thrive in an ever-evolving environment with an entrepreneurial spirit. Moreover, you have strong stakeholder management skills and work well across organizational levels, as well as with external partners. Thus, you are able to navigate relationships with people, who are not necessarily experts in your field.
