SEM Team Lead for momondo
Momondo is looking for an ambitious and passionate SEM Team Lead who is excellent in planning and leading PPC search strategy, driving campaign optimization with a hands-on approach, and who will play a key role in momondo’s PPC Team.

In Copenhagen, where the position as a SEM Team Lead is currently open, the office includes around 250 employees who take great pride in their work and in becoming the best within their area of expertise. momondo is a fast-growing travel site, and you’ll join their team of talented people in their main office on Løvstræde in the centre of Copenhagen.
As momondo’s new SEM Team Lead you will be responsible for defining and executing the paid online strategy, which is a key position with paid search being the biggest traffic channel with direct influence on the top- and bottom line. You will be defining and prioritizing the paid strategy based on ambitious KPI’s as well as showcasing strong leadership and motivating the team of campaign managers. The PPC team is part of the Performance Marketing Team, and is led as an in-house agency who controls all paid search, affiliate and compare marketing with a total of 17 people controlling paid search on app and web.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Lead and develop 3-7 search campaign manager
- Define, develop and execute ambitious paid search strategy
- Develop, challenge and implement best practice
- Responsibility and reporting of paid search ROI and revenue
- Identifying key opportunities for growth and optimizations of paid search activities.
You have a relevant educational background, as well as at least 3-4 years of hands-on paid search experience, preferably AdWords, from similar positions in other international and digitally grounded companies, or alternatively a leading PPC Agency. Furthermore, you are used to working with large clients, with focus on scalability. You are analytical, data driven, used to agile working, and have a proven track record of effectively optimizing paid search. You work strategically and have experience with optimization systems as well as a conceptual understanding of lead generating online campaigns. It is important that you can spot strategic possibilities whilst maintaining focus on execution, and that you possess a sound commercial understanding. You are structured but innovative and thrive in a specialist role rather than a generalist. Both leadership- and DoubleClick experience is a big plus, but not a must.
