Product Marketing Manager for Labster
Labster is a growing tech company building virtual laboratory simulations and is so far selling to universities. They are expanding rapidly and are looking for a Product Marketing Manager who will be responsible for the development of highly effective lead-generation campaigns, intended to grow the sales pipeline, with a strict focus on campaign performance and return on investment.
Labster is a rapidly growing tech company dedicated to the development of fully interactive learning simulations, with the aim of making science education both accessible and motivational for millions of students globally. We do this by uniting elements from the psychology of learning, with immersive 3D universes, engaging storytelling, and scoring systems, in order to stimulate a student’s natural curiosity, and highlight the real-world application of science.
Labster is currently working in close collaboration with over 150 leading universities in 25 countries, including: MIT, Harvard and Imperial College, and has received more than 10m USD in grant funding for cutting edge R&D projects. Currently, Labster offers 55 different simulations, a number which steadily increases by approximately five new and exciting additions per month. The Labster organization is flat, collaborative, and exploratory, and the environment is highly motivational. With its headquarters in Copenhagen, Denmark, Labster has a diverse and engaged team with members spanning from Asia and Europe to North America, and a company culture that is laser focused on leadership, collaboration and integrity. While historically Labster was mainly focused on subscription deals with universities and other educational institutes, moving forward our strategy is to add additional revenue streams through direct consumer sales of commercial off-the-shelf simulations.
As Product Marketing Manager you will be responsible for authoring a comprehensive demand generation strategy and developing creative and modern campaign to produce qualified leads, resulting in an increased pipeline. It is essential that you are strong in defining goals and metrics for campaigns, and excel in tracking, measuring and analysing the campaign performance against the goals and ROI. The next Product Marketing Manager will know how to build and own the entire campaign from idea to execution independently, manage demand generation budgets and successfully generate leads for the sales team to execute on. It is expected that you are fluent in Salesforce, is metrics driven and can balance the role of being a leader and tactician at the same time.
Furthermore, the position includes the following areas of responsibility:
• Create marketing content to support campaigns (case studies, white papers, blog posts, landing pages, etc.)
• Develop a framework and supporting materials for a planned inside sales team, including performance metrics, scripts, and email templates.
• Remain up-to-date with modern demand generation practices.
• Occasional travel to industry conferences and Labster events.
• Nurturing leads to mature point
As Product Marketing Manager for Labster, you come with 2-5 years of experience in B2B demand generations, and have a Bachelor degree in Marketing. You are ambitious and motivated by working independently, and has an attention to detail with the ability to project manage all elements of a campaign. You have experience with a wide range of marketing tools and techniques, hereunder marketing automation tools. Professionally you have a strong track record of developing highly effective and innovative campaigns and you possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Furthermore, you know how to fuel insights with data. You love thinking about the ROI and are always looking for a way to improve it. Besides this, you are not afraid of technical details, A/B testing are not foreign to you. As it will to a large extent be your responsibility to build a strong marketing team around you, (project) leadership experience is an advantage in the position.
Finally, since the corporate language is English, it is required that you speak and write English fluently. It is very important that you are purpose driven and that you share Labster’s vision and passion for creating solutions with a high social impact.
