Lead Generation and Performance Marketing Manager for Nets
On behalf of Nets Merchant Services, we are looking for an experienced and ambitious Lead Generation and Performance Marketing Manager to elevate Nets to a new level of top-of-class Digital Marketing. You will be responsible for building and managing performance marketing campaigns across different marketing channels, and you will be a crucial player in digital lead acquisition.
Nets is a leading provider of digital payment services in the Nordics. The company was founded in 2010 through a merger of the Danish company PBS and the Norwegian company Nordito (formerly BBS and Teller). The company’s origin, however, dates back to 1968, and payments have been at the core of their business ever since. Whilst their offerings to merchants, corporates, financial institutions, consumers and wider society may have evolved over time, digital payments of all types remain at the heart of everything they do. For more than four decades, Nets have been instrumental in developing a modern payment infrastructure, with the introduction of a number of successful payment products to the Nordic region, including Dankort, Betalingsservice, NemID, BankID, Avtalegiro and BankAxept, and in recent years the company has made significant investments to expand the acquiring business including E-com and mobile solutions as Mobile Dankort. As Lead Generation and Performance Marketing Manager, you will become a part of a start-up type of unit where you will work closely with the sales leadership and with inspiring, resourceful and enthusiastic colleagues in an organization driven by lean processes and flat hierarchies. The Lead Generation and Performance Marketing Manager will be responsible for creating and optimizing demand generation programs and for producing high performing leads for sales. The position will evolve around lead generation and nurturing, lead database optimization, social media and also a great deal of reporting and analytics. Thus, you will be the paid media acquisition champion and create and manage lead acquisition campaigns, as well as build and optimize lead nurturing programs for all inbound and outbound marketing initiatives through digital channels. This includes assessing the overall current acquisition performance and defining overall vision and strategy to drive acquisition across paid channels (e.g., search, display, social media).
This position includes key tasks such as:
- Building and optimizing digital lead nurturing programs for all inbound and outbound marketing initiatives
- Increasing and optimizing site traffic and site conversion through SEO/SEM initiatives, call to action, dedicated
landing pages, content marketing and PPC
- Building, managing, and growing social media profiles and presence, including Facebook marketing activities
- Tracking and reporting on campaign performance data for analysis and performance optimization
- Optimizing campaigns and measuring frequent A/B tests on email, digital or content pieces
- Drive tests & learn models through a Scrum team to accelerate digital acquisition on paid & owned media
- Building and operationalizing campaigns in Apsis or other tools including list creation, template design, call-to- action and copy creative
- Identify key external marketing partners and negotiate optimum media rates and prioritize high impact opportunities by conducting extensive competitive & market assessment and historic on-site acquisition performance
- Conduct ad-hoc analysis and daily/weekly reports by pulling data from multiple sources including historical performance, trends, and benchmarking, and communicate through email/ presentations
In this position, you will be collaborating with the Content Marketing Manager on new assets, digital campaigns and content syndication opportunities, and the PM/PO to define key metrics for different tests and identify sources of data to create test projections.
You have a relevant Bachelor’s degree, and ideally a Master’s degree within Marketing or similar. Additionally, you must have at 5-7 years marketing relating experience, where you have been working with digital marketing programs and online marketing operations and have managed several sorts of marketing performance channels. Working with agile processes is known to you. You easily understand different business models and know how to navigate effortlessly between them. You also have extensive knowledge of what it means to be a part of a Nordic organization and have a profound knowledge of the Nordic markets, since you will be working across Scandinavia. Therefore, it is a definite plus if you are native in one or more Scandinavian languages and it is required that you are fluent in English.
You preferable have experience in managing marketing tools (e.g. DoubleClick Campaign Manager, Adjust, Adobe and Google Analytics). Having worked with programmatic displays and/or native marketing (Python and SQL) before is also considered a plus. Furthermore, we expect you to have proficient skills in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint, along with solid presentation, writing, and editing skills. On top of this you must have experience in planning and buying of display media, building campaigns and implementing bidding strategies.
You must have the proven ability to work closely with sales, and finally, you should have the ability to work cross- functional, specifically with product management and Marketing. As you will be managing media agencies, it is important that you have a keen understanding of how these work, and how to coordinate their efforts with other functions. Generally, you must be an effective and talented stakeholder manager who is able to oversee larger processes and optimize their performance. This is key since you will work with business stakeholders to ideate campaigns and with Agile test, and will maintain relationships across multiple internal and external stakeholders.
As a person you are structured, well-organized and possess strong management skills, as well as the demonstrated ability to influence and persuade. You like being hands-on in your approach and consider yourself very analytical and data-driven. Having to regularly report on performance and optimization is something you find motivating. On top of this, you are detail oriented and thorough in your work and enjoy working towards goals. You of course have a digital mindset, and you are passionate about social media, lead generation and marketing automation, and your enjoy keeping up to date with digital and online marketing trends.
