IT Systems Specialist for Satair
We are looking for a competent and highly ambitious IT Systems Specialist for Satair who will join the IT Operations and Infrastructure team, in supporting the IT Platform and supporting the daily operational business.

As IT Systems Specialist for Satair Group you will report to the Head of IT Operations and Infrastructure, working mainly within the infrastructure area covering network services (WAN/LAN), security, firewalls, communication and IP Telephony. It is your responsibility to build and maintain the infrastructure to support the IT service delivery, as well as building and maintaining the interfaces to externals (extended enterprise) and ensure consistency with IS/IT policies (including security). Furthermore, it is your role to monitor IS/IT/communication infrastructure and network and ensure that Satair Group is running on a stable and secure IS/IT infrastructure, and help and advice the implementation of technical solutions internally and with external partners. In addition to 12 skilled and motivated colleagues in the Infrastructure team, you will work closely with our other IT teams and various suppliers to run the projects requested by the business.
Your responsibilities and tasks will include but are not limited to:
- Act as second level support for technical issues
- Diagnose the causes of malfunctions and offer corrections and alternatives
- Offer solutions to improve system performance and IS/IT security
- Be the interface recognized infrastructure expert from other fields
- Document infrastructure and network
- Check the application of standards (computer security, quality, etc.)
- Certify components and applications developed
- Act as the interface to external technical service providers regarding report incidents, follow-up on resolutions of
incidents, define, describe and order changes to the infrastructure
- Ensure that all security components are updated and configured
- Ensure that users have their technical problems resolved as soon as possible
- Identify and install new features and mandatory updates/upgrades for the infrastructure
As an ideal candidate, you need to have minimum 4-5 years of experience from a similar role and good knowledge about every corner of an IT infrastructure and how to secure the availability of the core IT platform.
You preferably have a technical IS/IT education on a bachelor level with a solid knowledge of network (WAN/LAN), security (antivirus, firewalls etc.), communications, Microsoft applications, enterprise applications (SAP), mail systems, and other software and hardware solutions. Experience with Cisco-based solutions is also an advantage. As coming IT Systems Specialist you possess strong project management skills, have related experience and training in troubleshooting and providing helpdesk support and fully proficient in English both spoken and written.

At the same time, it is essential that you are a strong team player and customer minded, while possessing good analytical skills.
