Bang & Olufsen is looking for a Head of Partner Activation and Sales, who will become responsible for activating our brand partnerships through strong brand collaborations, co-marketing and co-promotions to drive brand awareness, support positioning the brand within the luxury lifestyle market, as well as leading an international team to ensure valuable sales.

About Brand Partnering
Brand Partnering is responsible for brand licensing partnerships with some of the largest and most innovative companies in the world. These partnerships represent an important platform for exposing potential customers to the brand and the core capabilities of the company.
The new Head of Partner Activation and Sales will be working with direct reference to the Vice President of Brand Partnering, and will be leading a team of 7 members whereof 3 will be located in US, CN or EU. You will also be working in close collaboration with a number of internal teams and key external stakeholders; including the Brand Partnering team’s KAMs, the Global Marketing team, and External Partner’s Marketing and Sales teams.
As the new Head of Partner Activation and Sales stakeholder management will be a key part of your job. You will be responsible for engaging with partner marketing organization at both CXO level and below, to build strong relationships with key stakeholders. Internally you will be building a strong team centrally and locally to engage with partners, drive ideas and manage execution and ensure cross-company delivery.
Branding is a big part of the position as Head Partner Activation and Sales. Thus you will be responsible for establishing a solid strategic foundation for partner co-marketing and create strong brand activities with the partners utilizing key assets and platforms across partners to support a luxury lifestyle positioning. This includes defining a brand territory for each partnership and a framework for building reach from relevant partnership stories and content. Tapping into the partners’ brand universe, properties and extended experiences is key to deliver strong exposure and customer engagement.
You will manage a global marketing budget allocated for brand partners globally and locally and be responsible for the subsequent follow-up of impact and KPIs to consistently evaluate the effect and build cross-market learning. You will also have the responsibility to optimize product sales through cross promotions, product programs and brand collaborations activating B&O products in partner editions and vice versa and systemize this approach.
In order to be successful in this role, you as the future Head of Partner Activation and Sales will be working towards fulfilling these overall goals:
- Increase brand awareness and positioning of core values in key strategic markets through strong co-marketing and brand collaborations with brand partners.
- Ensure valuable sales of B&O products through partner channels, platforms, customers and organizations.
- Have a professional approach to investment, planning, concept development and execution of activities with partners and internally; this includes having a strong team globally and locally supporting partner business and interface.
You have strong marketing competencies which comes from working with acknowledged, global brands and companies and have a natural interest in brands and innovative strategies. Your way of working is holistic and you are able to think 360 concerning the partner lifestyle platform, and you are more experienced or prefer thinking in pull marketing instead of push (ie use strong product collaboration to drive PR, engage in relevant partner events to ensure costumer engagement and SoMe activation). You must also have a strong commercial drive, and the ability to identify new opportunities, set a direction and make sure you and your team reach your goals. To be successful at this you must have a solid strategic mind and business acumen.
As a person you are structured and always delivers on commitments, which originates from your high-level of energy and drive to achieve. You are a strong personal leader, who are able to motivate and create commitment across teams though your positive attitude and persistent can-do mindset. Building relations and managing different stakeholders comes natural to you and you enjoy working with other people. Apart from being a team player, you are also able to work independently in planning and organizing, and you have a structured approach to managing projects, internal and external teams and governance policies.
Since you will be leading a multi-national team you have to have leadership experience from managing and working with international teams, and know how to make the most of a diverse group of people. You are also generally a natural collaborator and are able to and experienced with effortlessly working with international organizations and people.
