momondo is looking for a highly passionate and competent Global Head of Advertising who will be globally responsible for transforming momondo’s overall strategies to best-in-class campaigns and differentiated creative solutions, in addition to running and developing the two coolest and most ambitious creative teams in Denmark: momondo’s Campaign Team & Content Team.

momondo is a fast-growing travel site with a marketing department which has developed itself into being a ‘thought leader’ with great global acknowledgement within marketing thinking and actual marketing strategy- and execution. To further strengthen their creative initiatives, momondo is now looking for a highly passionate and competent Global Head of Advertising who will join their MarCom team of talented people in their main office in Løvstræde in the centre of Copenhagen.
As Global Head of Advertising for momondo, you will become responsible for transforming momondo’s overall strategies to best-in-class campaigns and differentiated creative solutions, in addition to running and developing the coolest and most ambitious creative teams in Denmark: momondo’s Campaign Team & Content Team.
You will be globally responsible for planning, developing and optimising large-scale campaigns across 12 TV markets, as well as digital and purpose campaigns translated into multiple markets and nationalities. You will further be responsible for taking momondo’s creative content solutions to the next level. Besides, you will be overseeing campaign management, production, quality assurance, and prioritisation.
To be successful in the Global Head of Advertising role, it is essential that you possess a thorough understanding of traditional marketing channels along with an up to date knowledge about digital opportunities (particularly digital TVC and online video) as well as a comprehensive understanding of digital ecosystems. You will thus be responsible for making sure that performance is at its highest in all international campaign initiatives. It is important that you are creative when it comes to communication and advertising, and that you can contribute with a wide range of diverse campaign ideas. Additionally, you need to be able to maintain a constant focus on creating the best strategic solutions with the highest value for the momondo users.
At momondo, you will manage and become the creative lead for the Campaign & Content teams. The teams count 15 people, and is a mix of Art Directors, Campaign Managers, Copywriters, Video Editors, Content Editors and producers. The teams are part of the MarCom department at momondo, and they further account for Media & Insights, Partnerships & Activations, Social, and Cheapflights.
You will oversee all campaign processes and further be the liaison with the rest of momondo’s teams which you will also cooperate closely with. Thus, you must have flair for people management, as you will set the direction, prioritize and provide clarification on diverse campaign tasks.
You will be reporting directly to The Global Head of Marketing, Per Christiansen, and will be part of the management teams for both the MarCom and the Marketing department.
As the Global Head of Advertising for momondo you come with a strong passion for setting the strategic direction and translating thoughts and ideas into innovative campaigns as well as high quality creative solutions. Ideally, you have 3 to 5 years of experience as a Head of Marketing (or similar), or alternatively an agency background with planner and creative experience. Moreover, you master English on a business level – speaking Danish is considered a bonus but is not a necessity.
As Global Head of Advertising, you must have flair for developing strategies and creative concepts, and turning them into valuable campaigns. It is important that you are able to dispose over the entire Campaign & Content Team’s resources, and that you can maintain your focus on ensuring high quality solutions. It is of great importance too that you work well under pressure.
As a person, you are result driven and ambitious, and you come with an academic yet highly creative mind-set. Further, you are genuinely passionate about new trends in the digital sphere as well as creative possibilities. You take great joy in both strategic development, idea generation and the execution tasks, and enjoy working on a campaign from the moment of idea creation till the final iterations. You are self-confident and able to motivate your team with your strong communicative competencies and the trust you build with your team as well as the rest of the momondo organisation. You always see the bigger picture and provide accurate and well-documented recommendations, and you know when and how to ask the right questions. Finally, you are a multitasker who is capable of gathering all the threads in and across projects, yet you still have an eye for the details. Most importantly, you are ready to accept the challenge and become part of a highly creative and international working environment where things are always evolving.
