Hence, they are looking for an ambitious Digital Optimization Manager with knowledge and experience of all drivers of online conversion to play an integral role in the continued optimization and improvement of the sales and service journeys.
As the new Digital Optimization Manager, you will act as the CRO evangelist taking the lead in the optimization of Bang & Olufsen’s sites, including the beoplay.com site. Hence, you will be responsible for completing customer journeys from a strong CRO perspective, and be working as a key part of the Digital team to understand user behavior in order to identify opportunities and to instigate site improvements. Together with the website manager, you will be a key member of driving overall UX and design in order to ensure that sites are set up to deliver the best experience possible for the consumers. The position includes responsibility for enhancing user satisfaction by improving usability and accessibility provided in the interaction with Bang & Olufsen’s products. Furthermore, you will be responsible for producing and owning the start to end test plan and test maps to the final implementation. Supported by design resources, you will produce wireframes and mock-ups to support the optimization roadmap and support the creation of final assets. Moreover, you will be responsible for setting up and implementing Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager in order to ensure accuracy of analytics data at all times.
The new Digital Optimization Manager will lead the implementation and analysis of data and split tests, including building and delivering A/B or multi-variant tests to deliver conversion rate improvements, reduce bounce and to increase basket size. Moreover, you will be in charge of monitoring the results and their statistical significance, and ensuring that all KPI’s are accurately tracked and reported on.
As Digital Optimization Manager you will be reviewing and benchmarking against competitors and E-Commerce websites, thus be responsible for the commercial success of the CRO offering.
You will be supporting the ambitious Digital Strategy whilst delivering best practice to help grow and drive the CRO roadmap. You will collaborate with various teams in order to define tests, document requirements, create hypotheses and develop variations to tests. The Digital Optimization Manager will have the overall responsibility for Bang & Olufsen’s CRO strategy and drive continuous optimization through ongoing measurement and performance reporting of the targeting, testing and personalization of programs.
The position is located in Lyngby, Denmark, where you will be part of the E-Commerce and Web team in the Digital Department, why you will report directly to the E-Commerce Director.
The ideal candidate comes with minimum five years’ experience and has hands-on experience from working in similar positions within CRO, UX and E-Commerce. Furthermore, you possess knowledge and understanding of HTML and CSS, can code minor changes, and find joy in optimization. You are an expert in split tests, thus know how to conduct controlled, randomized experiments with the goal of improving a website metric. You have experience with online testing platforms such as Maxymiser, Optimizely, VWO or similar. Furthermore, you come with a solid understanding of user experience and design principles, hence you are capable of addressing complex design problems and of providing effective solutions. You have flair for data and analytics, and for developing high-level mock-ups and interactive prototypes to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.
As a person, you are analytical, data driven, used to agile working, and have a proven track record of effectively optimizing conversion rates. Moreover, you are strategic, organized and enthusiastic and find it motivating to work across teams. You have great attention to detail and possess strong skills of working efficiently within a specialist team, as well as on your own initiative.
As Bang & Olufsen is an international organization, you are fluent in English – oral as well as written, and you communicate and disclose ideas and concepts effortless.
