Digital Communications Manager for MN Retail
On behalf of the luxury retail chain MN Retail we are looking for a strategic and yet hands-on Digital Communications Manager who will be responsible for developing and optimizing MN Retails digital communications strategy across channels and work with a broad range of digital disciplines. The primary purpose of the position is to optimize the customer experiences and secure that the digital communication efforts are aligned with the different luxury brand identities for the brands in the MN Retail portfolio.
About MN Retail
MN Retail is franchise taker for a number of luxury brands in Denmark and Sweden. The franchise brands are Stella McCartney, Isabel Marant and Marc Jacobs with seven shops located in Copenhagen, Århus and Stockholm. Common for the brand portfolio is that all brands are strong brands with a great passion for their history and culture.
Besides from being a franchise taker MN Retail has got a portfolio of in-house brands including the cashmere brand Månestråle, the global watch brand LLARSEN and the soon launced t-shirt brand 360 Icon. The in-house portfolio of brands is more playful and creative than the franchise brands as MN Retail themselves shape these brands. Currently they are developing webshops for their in-house brands. Additionally, MN Retail has recently launched the mobile App Custom Cash. Custom Cash makes it more convenient, faster and easier to redeem one’s tax refund and is launched on all of the Nordic markets.
As MN Retail’s Digital Communications Manager, you will primarily work with Custom Cash and LLARSEN. The MN Retail administration is based in the heart of Copenhagen where the Digital Communications Manager also will work from.
As Digital Communications Manager you will be responsible for driving MN Retail’s digital communication efforts across channels with the ambition to create commercial communication that increase traffic and brand awareness for MN Retail’s brands- and their product portfolio. You will be responsible for developing the overall digital communications strategy as well as for continuously evaluating and optimizing MN Retail’s digital performance with the purpose to optimize the customer experience, prevent churn as well as retain existing customers and attract new ones. Additionally, you will be responsible for search engine optimization to secure a long-term inbound marketing strategy and for managing an effective brand awareness strategy across third party platforms.
You will be in charge of communication for both own, earned and paid digital media from optimization of the brand websites to developing SoMe strategies and SEO/SEM optimization. You will develop digital campaigns in Google Adwords including refining keywords lists, optimizing landing pages to increase Quality Score and implement A/B tests as well as create effective marketing campaigns by continuously evaluating and optimizing. As you will be developing SoMe strategies you understand which messages works for which channels and at the same time you are capable of uniting your insights to a holistic and unified SoMe strategy for each brand. You will also be responsible for integrating influencer marketing in the digital communications strategy. Therefore, it is a must that you have an understanding for how to use influencer marketing to create business value. Additionally, you have got an understanding for Apps like the Custom Cash App as well as for development of digital services and products for the MN Retail brands.
The position requires that you are creative and unconventional by nature and therefore able to come up with new initiatives that will secure digital growth and extraordinary customer experiences. Additionally, you have got flair for aesthetics to secure that the initiatives that you come up with are aligned both strategically and visually with the different luxury brand identities in the MN Retail portfolio.
As the ideal candidate you have solid experience in online marketing and have minimum 2 years of hands-on experience from a similar role where you have worked with a broad range of digital marketing and communications disciplines. You hold a relevant academic background within the field of marketing, communication and/or information technology. Furthermore, you hold one of the Nordic languages as your mother tongue but are also fluent in English. It is considered a great plus if you have experience from a fashion or design-oriented organization.
You have got experience with handling online marketing campaigns, primarily Google Adwords. Additionally, you possess good analytical skills and Strong MS Excel skills. Experience with Google Analytics and Apps is considered a great plus. You have a good business understanding and you know how digital communication can be used to support the overall business goals. Furthermore, you know how to fuel insights with data. You love thinking about the ROI and are always looking for a way to improve it. You possess excellent knowledge of data analytics and reporting as well as impeccable SEO and SEM knowledge. Furthermore, you have experience with affiliate marketing and online campaign management.
