MN Retail is looking for a strategic and analytical Digital Communications Manager who will be responsible for developing and optimizing the digital communications strategy for their newly started business Custom Cash. Your primary responsibility will be to generate downloads, create awareness, and secure the digital communications efforts are aligned with the brand identity.

The digitalized tax free service makes it easier than ever to shop tax free, which means more commerce and business for the retailers and partners in the Custom Cash network. To strengthen Custom Cash’s digital communications and positive momentum within the industry, they are now looking for an innovative Digital Communications Manager who will consult and be in touch with their several brands and secure the organization’s overall digital presence to drive growth through digital channels.
As Digital Communications Manager for MN Retail, you will act as an in-house specialist within digital communications and marketing, hence be responsible for driving Custom Cash’s digital communications efforts across channels with the ambition to create commercial communications that increase traffic and brand awareness. You will be in charge of developing the overall digital communications strategy, continuously evaluating and optimizing Custom Cash’s digital performance with the purpose to optimize the customer experience, prevent churn as well as retain existing customers and attract new ones. Additionally, you will be the main driver of search engine optimization to secure a long-term inbound marketing strategy, and for managing an effective brand awareness strategy across third party platforms. Besides your key responsibility for Custom Cash’s digital performance, you will become an important player for the brand LLarsen for which you will develop digital communications and marketing strategies in collaboration with MN Retail’s digital marketing apartment.
As Digital Communications Manager, you will be in charge of integrating influencer marketing in the digital communications strategy, why it is a must that you possess great knowledge of how to use influencer marketing to create business value. Additionally, you understand how apps like the Custom Cash App work and you have flair for developing several digital services. Furthermore, you will be in charge of communications for both own, earned and paid digital media from optimization of the brand websites to developing SoMe-strategies and SEO/SEM optimization. Hence, you will develop digital campaigns in Google Adwords including refining keywords lists, optimizing landing pages to increase Quality Score and implement A/B tests as well as create effective marketing campaigns by continuously evaluating and optimizing. It is therefore essential that you understand how to align right messages for the right channels and are capable of uniting your insights to a holistic and unified SoMe-strategy.
The position requires that you are creative and unconventional by nature, understand budgeting and how to drive sales, hence able to come up with new initiatives to secure digital growth and extraordinary customer experiences. Additionally, you have flair for aesthetics to ensure that your suggested initiatives are aligned both strategically and visually.
The ideal candidate comes with solid experience in digital marketing and holds a relevant academic background within marketing, communication and/or information technology. You have minimum 4 years of hands-on experience from a similar role where you have worked with a broad range of digital marketing and communications disciplines, and you come with experience in affiliate marketing and online campaign management. Additionally, experience from another app-based company or a digital agency is considered a great plus. Furthermore, you have experience with handling online marketing campaigns, primarily Google Adwords, and hold decent analytical abilities and Strong MS Excel skills. You possess excellent knowledge of data analytics and reporting as well as impeccable SEO and SEM knowledge, and experience with Google Analytics and apps is considered a great plus.
To succeed in the position, you have a good business understanding, know how digital communications can be used to support the overall business goals, and understand how to fuel insights with data. Efficiency and profit are some of your main drivers, why you always think about ROI and are looking for ways to improve it. As you will consult and collaborate with Custom Cash’s retailers and partners, you possess great stakeholder management skills and are a strong communicator both written and verbally. Hence, you are open-minded and outgoing, and hold one of the Nordic languages as your mother tongue but are also fluent in English.
By nature, you are result-driven and proactive, and are not afraid of taking the lead but at the same time, you are collaborative and an excellent team player.
