Creative Director for Advance
Advance is searching for an experienced and driven Creative Director to set the creative agenda for a large client portfolio as well as strengthening and driving innovative creative development within Advance.
Advance is a Copenhagen-based independent creative agency. The agency was founded in 1976, and since then, Advance has provided strategically strong creative solutions for some of the largest Danish and international companies.
The agency’s core services are Brand and Communication Strategy, Integrated Global Campaigns and Activation based on a strong insights and strategy department and Senior Concept Developers. They firmly believe that a broader perspective helps them create more value for their clients. Thus, even though Advance is a full-service agency, they collaborate with a group of strong partners consisting of hand-picked technical and tactical specialists to complement their core services, strengthen their specialist expertise, and ensure that Advance delivers holistic and tailored solutions. To further strengthen their creative competencies and to drive innovative, digital development, Advance is now searching for a Creative Director.
As a Creative Director for Advance, you will become creatively responsible and actively working for selected clients, for whom you will be setting the creative agenda and guide and motivate senior creative teams. Moreover, you are expected to be a creative innovator, and to be able to promote digital-creative development internally at Advance as well as externally with your clients.
You are well-versed in the digital disciplines and have an in-depth understanding of digital design, UX and digital concept development.
You will be one of two to three Creative Directors working together to lead and develop a creative department of 25 creatives. To be successful in the position, you are a skilled leader and are capable of motivating and pushing the team of senior creatives. You are a visionary with regards to competencies and ambitious on your own as well as on the Agency’s behalf – you are able to raise the creative level significantly.
The profile we are looking for is highly skilled in the following disciplines:
- Strategic and creatively conceptual competencies within B2B and B2C alike. You know how to roll out concepts in strategically judicious campaigns and initiatives. You have a thorough understanding of your clients’ often complex businesses and their opportunities and challenges, and you are able to translate these into relevant strategies and solutions. Moreover, you bring an updated digital toolbox to the table and you have an eye for digital concepts and user experience.
- Pitches; as a Creative Director you are able to present concepts and campaigns on a high international level. This further implies that you master English on negotiation level.
- Practicing creative management; you will be working closely with the creative teams on a day-to-day basis, and you are able to create clarity, direction and prioritisation over creative tasks.
As a new Creative Director for Advance, you have a senior profile and several years of experience from a similar position involving responsibility for creative direction as well as management of creative teams. You have a convincing track record with regards to delivering strong creative concepts and solutions, you are an excellent communicator, and you thrive being a front-runner and a driving force.
It is essential that you thrive in and are able to navigate in complex and technically advanced environments with many stakeholders.
Moreover, you are highly internationally oriented and have previously been working with large businesses operating on global markets. Ideally, you have experience working with brands within medico, FMCG and B2B.
As a leader, you know how to engage your team, and you are a natural when it comes to pushing forward and promoting innovation and development. You lead through examples and employ a hands-on approach to what you do.
You possess a strong drive, you are passionate about what you do, and you are an inspiring person to work with. You have high morals and a thoroughness to your way of working. Furthermore, you are a team-player and an empathetic and well-balanced person.
