Country Manager for SnappCar
SnappCar is looking for an ambitious Country Manager with a result-driven mentality and a proven track record within digital marketing to join the team towards becoming the leading peer-to-peer car sharing community in Europe.
SnappCar is a rapidly growing Dutch start-up pioneering in the field of car sharing, with an ambitious and dynamic company culture. More than 100.000 cars in Denmark are not being used extensively, resulting in a great amount of currently untapped mobility opportunities. SnappCar aims to explore these opportunities by bringing together people with spare capacity and people looking for a rental car, and has established a community in which thousands of car owners share their personal cars with neighbours and friends. To strengthen the SnappCar team and to meet the company’s growth ambitions, SnappCar is now looking for an ambitious Country Manager, who sees and drives solutions and possesses the skills to accelerate the growth of the SnappCar community and business in the Copenhagen region.
As SnappCar’s Country Manager your primary objective will be to accelerate the growth of the SnappCar community and business in the Copenhagen region. Your level of ambition must be nothing less than transforming the way people perceive car sharing services by convincing people to try the SnappCar services. You will take part in defining the future performance and opportunities around the car sharing-services for thousands of car owners and renters in Denmark. Your primary responsibilities will be:
- Drive growth in transaction volumes in Copenhagen region.
- Acquisition of new members and cars in Copenhagen region to join the SnappCar community, driving growth, while optimizing the costs per acquisition.
- Activation of current users in Copenhagen, and retention of car sharers resulting in improvement of the lifetime value for both parties.
- Executing marketing activities and campaigns that support our mission and goals and match the SnappCar brand values.
- Setting up and managing an effective local city team, processes and metrics including alignment with central/ HQ Product, Marketing and Support teams and initiatives.
As an ideal candidate you have a bachelor’s degree, preferably in commercial studies, as well as a minimum of 4 years experience from a similar role in the digital industry as manager of a region or a small marketing team. You must have a proven track record within creating and executing marketing campaigns – especially offline marketing and e-mail activation – as well as knowledge of an experience with different marketing and data analysis tools as well as growth hacking. You are fluent in both Danish and English, and used to work in an international environment with diverse, multicultural teams, and you come with an excellent communicative flair and ‘get things done’ mentality, and see obstacles as a challenge to come up with a more creative solution to reach your goal. You need to have start-up experience enabling you to creatively maximizing a marketing budget using guerrilla-marketing tactics, viral market and such, as well as experience with marketplace / C2C marketing, loyalty programs, community management and social media engagement.
As a person you are result-driven and ambitious with an out-going personality and strong relationship building skills. You have a great drive and are able to create a team spirit through commitments and inspiration. Your confidence is inspiring to your surroundings and becomes evident through your strong presentation skills and your natural ability to convince decision makers. You get energy from connecting with people and you are not afraid to share your vision and use data and facts to convince others to follow your lead. As the new Country Manager you are structured and disciplined with a natural interest for the data driven side of marketing. As Country Manager you will report directly to SnappCar’s international CMO. Your workplace will be in SnappCar’s Copenhagen location as well as some traveling activity to the office in the Netherlands would be required.
