Content Marketing Manager for Nets
We are looking for a strategic and yet hands-on Content Marketing Manager for Nets Merchant Services to work across the Nordic markets who possesses unparalleled communication skills as well as strong stakeholder management skills.
Nets is a leading provider of digital payment services in the Nordics. The company was founded in 2010 through a mer- ger of the Danish company PBS and the Norwegian company Nordito (formerly BBS and Teller). The company’s origin, however, dates back to 1968, and payments have been at the core of their business ever since. Whilst their offerings to merchants, corporates, financial institutions, consumers and wider society may have evolved over time, digital payments of all types remain at the heart of everything they do. Nets forms the backbone of the Nordic payments ecosystem with solutions touching people’s everyday lives, often deeply embedded in society. Nets customers are from all corners of society and include banks, corporations, merchants of all sizes and public-sector organisations. For more than four dec- ades, Nets have been instrumental in developing a modern payment infrastructure, with the introduction of a number of successful payment products to the Nordic region, including Dankort, Betalingsservice, NemID, BankID, Avtalegiro and BankAxept, and in recent years the company has made significant investments to expand the acquiring business includ- ing E-com and mobile solutions as Mobile Dankort.

As Content Marketing Manager you will become a part of a start-up type unit that is part of a big organization and cannot slow down. At the same time, you will have the possibility to create content with an impact that makes a difference for Nets and has a high degree of visibility across units. As Content Marketing Manager you can work from both Stockholm or Copenhagen.
As Content Marketing Manager your primary task is to ensure that Nets has the highest quality and sector specific con- tent across all touchpoints with its different target groups. The Content Marketing Manager plays a critical role in moni- toring and optimizing Nets’ audience-centric content which ensures optimal performance across different communication channels in Nets. Content is created to meet objectives of increasing brand awareness and generating demand, driving leads, revenue, and increasing sales and customer retention. You will collaborate across functions and together with external agencies to deliver an effective content marketing strategy and editorial plan to meet the business objectives.
Therefore, you must see every new piece of content as an opportunity (and obligation) to convert an interested person into a customer. In order to fulfill your primary task, you must get highly appealing and segment specific content in place to establish a dialogue with interested prospects to become customers. Additionally, you shall create a multi-touchpoint strategy with differentiated contents and make sure country-specific content is aligned with overall marketing targets. The content that you create must be centered around messaging and topics that is based on market trends and cus- tomer insights. You will continuously explore and recommend content formats with the objective to better engage with the audiences.
As you will create, monitor and optimize content for a lot of digital platforms it is a great plus if you have experience with marketing technologies like Google Analytics and SEO. You will also create copy for infographics, articles, tutorials and marketing campaigns. Furthermore, it will be your responsibility to manage the MS website contents, including optimiza- tion of existing contents and development of new content, such as updating product descriptions based on input from Product Management or Customer service.
As Content Manager you will be in charge of developing editorial governance to ensure that content is consistent with Nets’ brand, perception and tone of voice. You will also edit, proofread and improve writer’s posts as well as ensure compliance with the law (e.g. copyright and data protection).
It is expected that you have a Master’s Degree within journalism, literature, communications or similar education. You have 2-4 years of experience from a similar role with Content Marketing and experience with managing simple Content Management Systems. Preferably from a Nordic organisation as you will be working across the Nordic markets. It is a definite plus if you are native in several Scandinavian languages and a requirement that you are fluent in English. In gen- eral, you must excel when it comes to both written and verbal communication. As Content Manager for Nets you must also have experience with content creation for multiple digital, social and traditional communication channels. It is simi- larly a must that you are used to work with different targets groups across both B2B and B2C segments. Additionally, you have experience in working with CMS (Nets is using Contentful), Google Analytics, Slideshare and the top social channels.
As a person you are structured, well-organized and possesses strong project management skills. You have an eye for the details and thorough quality assurance is a given for you. You possess unparalleled copywriting skills and excels when it comes to both written and verbal communication. Sine you will collaborate closely with media agencies stake- holder management comes natural to you and you thrive with establishing both internal and external relationships. Also, you have an understanding for managing the priorities of multiple stakeholders in a complex environment. Besides, you possess a strong business sense which you can translate into relevant content which supports Nets overall business goals in the form of engagement, leads and sales. You have a passion for communication and you keep up to date with trends within communication, platforms, channels, etc. You are ambitious and passionate about you work and have a genuine interest for trends within digital communication.
