Communications Manager – Nordic Marketing for Geberit
On behalf of Geberit, we are looking for a strategic and yet hands on Nordic Communications Manager who will be in charge of Geberit’s communications efforts in the Nordic region.
The globally operating Geberit Group is an European leader in the field of sanitary products. Geberit operates with a strong local presence in most European countries, providing unique added value when it comes to sanitary technology and bathroom ceramics.
The production network encompasses 30 production facilities, of which six are located overseas. The Group is headquartered in Rapperswil-Jona, Switzerland. Currently, Geberit is looking for a Nordic Communications Manager who will be a part of the Geberit’s Nordic marketing organization and handle communications for the Geberit brands in the Nordic region; Geberit, Ifö, IDO and Porsgrund. As Communications Manager, you can be working from either Lystrup, Albertslund or Malmö.
As Nordic Communications Manager, you will be managing the field of marketing communications and marketing content creation in the Nordic region. In close cooperation with Nordic Marketing project managers and local marketing teams, you will be responsible for the creation of any kind of marketing content for diverse channels. You will be working with communications on both a strategic and a tactical level as well as work with daily and ad-hoc requests for support from local marketing teams. You will work in close collaboration with the local communications teams on content creation, and it is your responsibility to secure the content purity according to brand guidelines through creating content with the right look, feel and tone of voice. Additionally, you will support the project managers on content marketing in Nordic campaigns and activities. The content development you will be in charge of can be in the form of copywriting, visual and video as well as both static and dynamic content. The content will both be developed in-house as well as by external agencies where it is your responsibility to manage the relation to agencies and other external content collaborators.
As the role includes Nordic responsibility, you will manage content usage wheels in each country and in the region as a whole. A large part of managing the content usage wheels will be to develop content tactics from first launch until permanent channels. Similarly, you will be in charge of creating annual Nordic communication master plans for each Nordic market including both own, paid and earned media channels. As a part of your responsibility, you will also manage Geberit’s content library in the Nordic region as well as manage content reactivation between countries and brands.
A large part of the content that you will be in charge of developing will be external. However, you will also work with internal company communications in the form of e.g. internal newsletters or content for the Intranet.
You will be in charge of monitoring the usage and efficiency of the content that is being dispersed as well as for delivering monthly reports on content performance to the Director of Nordic Marketing.
As the ideal candidate you have taken a bachelor or master’s degree within communications and/or journalism. You have 3-5 years of experience from a similar role within a Nordic or global organization. Preferably, you have experience from an organization with a strong focus on design.
You are a strong communicator on both a strategic, tactic and executing level. You have an ability to conceptualize and develop textual and visual content that reaches the defined target groups and is suited to different market needs and channels. You have experience with both mature and new communications tools. A healthy appetite for staying up-to-date on the new media development is additionally expected from you. It comes natural to you to demonstrate ownership of the tasks that you are given. You possess an open mind and you are not afraid of challenging the status quo or taking smart risks. As a person, you are proactive, innovative and possesses excellent communication and collaboration skills. You work independently and have a good business acumen. At the same time, you are a team worker who is not afraid of rolling up your sleeves and get the job done.
