We are looking for a competent and highly ambitious Commercial Director for miinto who will be commercial responsible for optimizing and take miinto’s campaigns, brand and marketing to the next level.
Miinto is one of Scandinavia’s largest and fastest growing online fashion e-commerce businesses enabling customers in Denmark, Sweden, Norway, The Netherlands and Belgium can shop directly from local physical fashion stores. The unique concept of shopping local online is based on sharing economy’s idea of making use of existing resources by giving local stores an additional sales channel broadening their customer base. Accordingly, miinto combines the expertise, service and security from physical stores with the flexibility and accessibility that characterize modern online shopping. The selection of fashion for women, men and children as well as accessories, sports, beauty and interior is one of Europe’s largest and is a network of more than 1.300 retail partners and several thousand brands. To take miinto’s commercial activities to the next level we are now looking for a Commercial Director to sustain and develop their current momentum.
As Commercial Director for miinto you will bear the primary responsibility for all go-to-market activities and campaigns as well as to optimize the mix between miinto’s products, brand and marketing and thereby create value and revenue growth. It is your responsibility to develop a campaign strategy and plans for execution based on data and business insights. It will be your responsibility to drive the entire campaign process including coordination between Sales, Brand and Marketing across miinto’s markets with the objective to improve KPIs such as traffic, conversion rate and basket size. You will be in charge of exploiting miinto’s full commercial potential as well as growth- and revenue targets. Therefore, it is essential that it comes natural to you to identify business potential and prioritise between a range of commercial options. As Commercial Director you will furthermore be in charge of market- and business analysis, identifying new areas of growth as well as potential threats.
As Commercial Director you will need to collaborate with many stakeholders, both internal and external, in order to manage and drive key aspects of the responsibility in the position. This includes seasonal commercial planning and strategies, monthly P&L and KPI analysis and reporting, and daily promotional campaign execution and follow-ups. You will work in close collaboration with the sales department, thus the position demands that you are capable of addressing the sales development as well as cross-organisational coordination of sales efforts. As responsible for all campaign activities you will need to align and work closely together with miinto’s Marketing teams to facilitate optimal coordination and execution of campaigns. Furthermore, the position offers a unique opportunity to work with all touch points of the customer journey both on- and offline, including paid, owned and earned media channels.
The position includes management responsibility for the commercial team consistent of a Product Center function and four Commercial Managers for respectively Denmark, Sweden, The Netherlands and Norway. You will refer directly to miinto’s CMO, Marc Østerskov.
As an ideal candidate, you need to have minimum 4-5 years of experience from a similar role with responsibility for campaigns and other commercial activities within an international digital retail and/or e-commerce business. You preferably have a degree within commercial disciplines, marketing or digital.
As coming Commercial Director for miinto you have a commercial mind-set and a solid business sense as well as experience within sales, e-commerce and digital business development. You have an eye for new business potentials and you work in a well-structured way to set up business cases and evaluate potentials. You have flair for developing commercial campaign strategies and creative concepts and for turning them into valuable campaigns. You possess high negotiating skills, are analytical in nature and you have an understanding of data and its usability in the digital business. You are structured in your approach to execution of tasks and you continuously focus on fulfilment of objectives. Furthermore, you have flair for optimising and rendering more efficient existing business and campaigns.
It is important that you as a person are open-minded and including as well as pragmatic with a will and capacity to collaborate and involve others. At the same time, it is essential that you dare to stand-up and set a direction for your team when it is necessary. This includes a flair for delegating and motivating employees with a high professional integrity. You possess highly developed written and oral communication skills and don’t mind working with a wide range of functions and personalities across the company. You are furthermore full of initiative and have a strong will to execute. Additionally, it is essential for this position that you possess a great knowledge about the fashion industry and that you are updated on current fashion trends and tendencies. Moreover, you are robust as a person and have a positive spirit and an optimistic approach to challenges.
