On behalf of Dynaudio, we are looking for a Channel Marketing Manager with the right business capabilities in strategic B2C Marketing to establish the Dynaudio brand in the retail speaker segment by driving result oriented marketing campaigns through Dynaudio’s retail channels.
Dynaudio was established in 1977 in Skanderborg with the ambition of being the best producer of High-End Hi-Fi speakers, focusing on authenticity in products and purity in sound. This they have accomplished by having a keen eye for detail, unique technical/acoustic knowledge and a focus on fine craftsmanship. Dynaudio has a philosophy of uncompromising quality across all product lines, which today includes four different segments; Home Audio, Professional Audio, Install and Car Audio. This philosophy has made Dynaudio speakers one of the most respected sound system today and has gained the company high profile customers worldwide. This includes Danish Radio Broadcasting and BBC radio, who all use Dynaudio’s high performing Professional Audio equipment. An established long-term customer in the Car Audio segment is Volkswagen, which uses Dynaudio’s systems to offer a quality sound system to the more expensive VW Cars. Exporting to more than 80 countries, Dynaudio has managed to capture the hearts of music lovers around the globe with their incomparable sound quality, winning them countless prices for their Audio products.
For the inspiring journey of a company truly fueled by talent in their trade, we are looking for a Channel Marketing manager to help setting the scene for Dynaudio also being a premium speaker brand on the retail market. A new path has to be build – and this positon will help set the bricks.
As Dynaudio’s new Channel Marketing Manager, you will take on the role as the main reference point between Global Marketing, Regional VP’s, and Retail Partners. In relation to this, you will be working actively with the Regional VPs, taking charge of overall marketing activities in the various territories while nurturing and securing close relationships with new retail partners. The position demands a solid understanding of the product and strong capabilities in navigating cultural differences when planning campaigns for the regions in which Dynaudio operate. You will be working with all marketing related activities in the Retail Channel, including media planning, corporation with the sales teams, orchestration of instore displays etc. Therefore, you need impeccable people skills to manage both external stakeholder expectations, engage sales teams across regions and understanding customer needs to meet the targets set for the segment. To sum, it will be the new Channel Marketing Managers responsibility to secure a high quality experience for retail consumers of Dynaudio products. You will be hands-on in developing customer touch-points with the brand, from in-store to media and digital. This will include ensuring that the brand is well-represented throughout these contact-points by managing and developing outstanding instore materials and activities, which can help establish the New Home Audio line as the most outstanding home speaker solution on the market. To achieve this, you will also be working closely with the Global Marketing Team in the implementation, development, execution of, and follow-up on campaigns, while overlooking these in their lifespan to conduct the necessary campaign-maintenance.
Your concrete areas of responsibility will include:
- In close collaboration with Regional VP´s, to create and execute retail marketing plans.
- Be point-of-contact for internal and external stakeholders/agencies on relevant campaign content.
- Oversee development, production and execution of retail marketing campaigns.
- Follow up on completed campaigns.
- Project lead on all international shows including those for other business segments. (eg. High-end Munich, CES a.o)
- Develop and retain all in-store materials and merchandising.
- Ensure that Regional VP´s are kept up to date with ongoing marketing activities, so they in turn can ensure informed retail partners.
You are a retail marketing expert with great motivation and strong capabilities in developing and driving flawless and inspired Retail Channel Marketing and Merchandising strategies on a regional level. You hold a degree in Marketing or Project Management and have +3 years of experience within Marketing Retail. Most essentially, you have a personal determination to work with products of the highest quality and the necessary understanding of luxury branding to deliver outstanding results on the long-term brand performance for the Home Audio product line.
You are a natural people person, as it is essential for success in this role to be capable of building strong collaborative relationships, to represent the brand at meetings with clients and create awareness at consumer-shows across regions. Therefore, qualities such as personal impact, tactical awareness, and goal-orientation are all characteristics that you recognize in yourself. Equally important is a high personal drive, which allows you to excel when setting new directions and motivates yourself and colleagues to push beyond expectations. You have a global mind-set and strong communication skills, are hands on in your marketing approach i.e. experienced in production of sales materials and thrives in social interactions such as sales meetings. Last but not least, you are a branding native whom always think the consumer into the decision-making process, allowing you to build the strongest possible representation for Dynaudio Home Audio.
