Ogilvy is looking for an ambitious Senior Account Manager with relevant agency experience who can actively and constructively develop and help drive the client relation through project management of large-scale projects from A-Z for some of Ogilvy’s largest clients.

About the position
As the new Senior Account Manager, you come with relevant agency experience and understand account management on large, hence complex clients within not only classic campaign development, trade marketing and traditional marketing, but also more digital activities in fora such as festivals, entertainment, fashion, outlet and influencers. It is important that you possess a comprehensive understanding for handling large clients with a regional footprint and for developing trade campaigns. Furthermore, you excel in owning the client process from continuous advice and client briefs, to development, execution and tracking on large and small campaigns. The position is focused, but not restricted to the agency’s largest account – British American Tobacco (BAT) – and focuses on all client activities, where Ogilvy Denmark is the center of strategy-, campaign- and creative activities covering Scandinavia and including The Netherlands from Q3 of 2019. Among other clients are Mazda, Shell and The Danish Ministry of Defence. Therefor it is important that you maintain a high level of client service and know how to balance the overview with attention to detail. For this position, it is essential that you exhibit outstanding project management skills and deliver personal impact to both internal and external stakeholders throughout the process.
To put it briefly; the right candidate thrives in the interplay and handling of clients and thorough project management for one of Ogilvy’s largest clients. You will have the full responsibility for driving select large-scale projects from A-Z, with project finalization and production support from Account Manager and/or Account Executives.
Your main responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Daily management of client projects
- Development of trade campaigns (POS, sales materials and Digital/1-2-1)
- Stakeholder management on all levels
- Classic account management
- Implementation and execution of projects and processes in close collaboration with the clients
- Project management and planning
- Business analytics of the clients and Ogilvy’s KPI’s
As the new Senior Account Manager, you are responsible for creating clarity over the projects and prioritizing the scope tasks. It is furthermore expected that you have a solid understanding of, and interest in, the business and financial side of client management.
You have a HD, Cand.merc or an equivalent master’s degree with focus on marketing and/or communication. It is essential that you have experience from a marketing agency as a project manager, consultant or account manager. Apart from a high degree of structural execution competencies, you are strategic and possess a clear attention to details concerning both projects and processes. It is expected that you are result-oriented and are fully proficient in both written and oral English.
Overview, structure and service are natural elements of your working style and you thrive in effectively handling multiple projects and stakeholders. Furthermore you are motivated by taking on the responsibility of finishing on time.
